Dr. Joseph Cillo completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas and fellowship in Maxillofacial Tumor and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine under Dr. Robert Marx. Dr. Cillo is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has served on the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as part of the Examination Committee for six-years and has held many leadership roles including Section Editor, Section Chair, and was recently nominated for the position of Director. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons where he has held numerous leadership positions including Chair of the Committee of Research Planning and Technology Assessment, Chair of the Faculty Section Executive Committee and member of the Committee on Education and Training. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He was one of the recipients as a co-author for the 2019 Daniel M. Laskin Award for Best Manuscript in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently Associate Professor of Surgery, Division Chief, Residency Program Director, and Director of Research of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital, a Level I trauma center located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Course Description
This lecture will highlight the diagnosis, treatment planning, management, and post-operative complication management of panfacial fractures.
Educational Objectives
- Understand the principles of restoring the buttresses of the facial skeleton
- Describe the approaches and fixation techniques of panfacial fracture repair.
- Discuss post-operative complications management of panfacial fractures.
