Digital Dentures - Find Your Workflow

Dr. Ingeborg J. De Kok is a Professor of Prosthodontics in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health. She also serves as the Director of Global Initiatives and Chief Global Officer at the Adams school of Dentistry, University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. De Kok completed her DDS training at Central University of Venezuela in 1997 and received her Prosthodontics Certificate and MS Degree in Oral Biology at UNC in 2002. She completed a fellowship in Implant Dentistry at UNC as well in 2003. Dr. De Kok has been a faculty member at UNC since 2004. Her major research interests include clinical outcomes with the use of dental implants and improving dental care and education with the implementation of digital technologies.

Course Description
Complete dentures can now be fabricated with CAD/CAM technology, with great potential to improve experiences for clinicians, technicians and patients. Digital denture workflows are versatile, making it easier to incorporate in any practice. This presentation will break down the steps of the digital denture workflow, from start to finish. Different concepts, materials, and procedures will be described.
