A Predictable Novel Digital Approach to the Hybrid Restoration

Dr. Wael Isleem received his DDS degree from the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. Later Dr. Isleem continued his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania, earned his DMD with clinical honor after attending advanced standing program class of 2018 . Dr. Isleem joined the Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis program after graduation, He is currently a 4th year resident, candidate for Certificate of Periodontology, Periodontal Prosthesis and Master of Oral Biology 2022. Dr. Isleem is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Isleem received multiple awards and scholarships during his studies at the University of Pennsylvania including Dr. Earle Banks Hoyt teaching award, academic merit scholarship award, The Academy of Osseointegration outstanding dental student in implant dentistry,The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit and Weisgold Scholarship in Periodontal Prosthesis.

Course Description
The conversion of the partially dentate to a implant supported hybrid restoration involves many layers of planning and treatment. Beginning with implant positional planning, proceeding to the immediate load restoration, and ultimately the definitive restoration, each step of the process can be enhanced by 3D virtual treatment planning. This presentation will demonstrate the increased predictability and efficiency of digitally planning and treating the hybrid restoration.
