Course Description

The 6th Penn Periodontal Conference took place July 24-28, 2023. This year’s program will include speakers in the areas of cellular and molecular mechanisms of periodontal disease pathogenesis, host-microbe interactions and inflammation, bioengineering and tissue regeneration, new treatment modalities, and the connection of periodontitis to systemic comorbidities.

Educational Objectives

• Promote growth, development, and open communication of frontier developments in oral health science among investigators, young scientists in development, and other persons responsible for the growth of science.
  
• Provide a forum for the discussion and analysis of recent advances and important research issues in oral health.
• Exchange the latest research on the breadth of clinical, translational, and basic sciences in periodontology.
