Dental Therapists: Quality, Education, Supervision, Economic Impact
Speaker
Moderated by Kim Perry
Course Description
The third webinar of this four part series will explore the day-to-day experiences of dental therapists in a number of practice settings. Participants will hear about the value added as seen by the DTs in what they view as their contribution to their clinic environments. Dental therapists will discuss the strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities that dental therapists experience as they expand oral health services and create new pathways increasing access to dental care in underserved communities. Learn how these important advances are being accomplished while under the scrutiny of detractors who question the quality, safety and efficacy of care of this dynamic workforce.
