Class of 2025 Final Presentations

Dr. Dana Lee earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 2018 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2023. She is currently a second-year resident in the post-graduate Endodontics program at Penn. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Lee plans to continue providing high-quality endodontic care to patients in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Dr. Arwa Abumansour, BDS, graduated from King Abdulaziz University in 2015 and is now a second-year Endodontics resident and third-year DScD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, passionate about excellence in endodontic care and evidence-based practice.

Dr. Andrew Grinsell graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. He served six years in the United States Navy Dental Corps, where he earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2018; he completed two operational tours on the USS MESA VERDE and USS CARTER HALL, where he was the sole dental provider to 400 sailors; and concluded his service serving three years as Dental Department Head and Clinic Director on Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island. Dr. Andrew joined the Department of Endodontics at Penn Dental Medicine to pursue his advanced training in Endodontics and earn a Master of Science in Oral Biology Degree. His research is focused on Leukocyte and Platelet Rich Fibrin in Endodontic Surgery.

Dr. Joujou Nguyenphuc was born and raised in California. He completed his DDS at UCLA School of Dentistry in 2023 and is a second-year Endodontics resident at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he intends to return home to the California Bay Area.

Dr. Aleksandra Ewa Dwornicka received her D.D.S. degree from Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland in 2016. She practiced general dentistry and endodontics in a private practice in Ruda Śląska, Poland from 2017 to 2021. In 2021 she followed her scientific career and in 2023 received her M.S. degree in cellular biology from the University Paris Cité, France, with her main reserach topic - root resorptions. Since 2023 she is a resident at the Department of Endodontics, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, USA where she will complete her post graduate endodontic certificate program in 2025.

Dr. George Ilenikhena was originally born in Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Ilenikhena immigrated to Chicago, IL, in his early years. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Illinois, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences concurrently with a Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology. He pursued his dental education at the University of North Carolina, where he excelled academically and spearheaded multiple initiatives aimed at alleviating barriers preventing access to care. As a result, he graduated with distinction and was honored with the International Academy of Dentistry Student Servant Leadership Award. Dr. Ilenikhena is completing his post-graduate education in endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania and hopes to dedicate his career to saving teeth, one patient at a time! coming soon

Dr. Jawad Jaghab is a graduating Endodontics Resident at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He earned his DMD from Penn Dental and pursued advanced training in endodontics, with clinical interests in microsurgical techniques, regenerative procedures, and intentional replantation. Dr. Jaghab also has a strong interest in ergonomics in endodontics, particularly in strategies to reduce musculoskeletal strain and promote long-term practitioner health. He is passionate about preserving natural dentition and advancing clinical care through evidence-based techniques.
