Course Description
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) has become an indispensable diagnostic imaging tool in clinical endodontics. In particular, high-resolution limited field of view 3D imaging volumes of the jaws provides dentists with greater diagnostic accuracy for tooth and root morphology and tooth and bone-related pathology than regular intraoral digital 2D imaging.
Educational Objectives
- Learn the importance of high resolution scans in your daily practice
- Understand the importance of systematic imaging interpretation
- How to navigate 3D volumes and avoid parallax error
- How to optimize imaging for endodontic interpretation
