Salah Huwais, DDS holds a Certificate in surgical Periodontics and Implantology from the University of Illinois at Chicago along with a Diplomate status in both the American board of Periodontology and the American Board of Implantology. Dr. Huwais is actively involved in teaching as well as biomechanical and clinical research. He serves as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Minnesota, Dental Implant Fellowship Program. He has published on periodontal regeneration and Bone instrumentation and its related clinical outcome. He is the founder of Osseodensification and has lectured on it extensively, both nationally and internationally. He is married with 2 children, who occupy almost all of his free time.

Course Description
Osseodensification, an evidence-based approach to osteotomy preparation that enhances implant stability & bone density without compromising healing. This lecture will present biomechanical, histological healing timeline, & clinical data of Osseodensification. It will discuss bone plasticity & its clinical effect and will also cover the clinical versatility of this novel technique including Sinus Auto Grafting, Ridge Expansion, & Guided Expansion Ridge Augmentation.
